Three seals emerge and examine the environment with large eyes. Eyes, which eable them perception upper and under water. Whether seals themselves can notice colors - I don't know, particularly since colors are bluring rappidly in the deep blue while diving in the dephts of the seas.
With the color choice of this work I had the intensive tones of Van Gogh still in mind from a straight visited exhibition . An audio book to its biography carries the title: by the darkness to the light. One must know the darkness surely, in order to really learn to estimate the colors of the light.
